Q: My family is not Catholic. Can I still send my children to Saint Matthew School?
A: Absolutely! We are a Catholic faith-based school; however, academically we
follow the Pennsylvania State Curriculum. Your child will be expected to attend Mass with his/her class and participate in Religion classes and assessments.
Q: My family IS Catholic; however, our parish does not have a school. Can I still apply to Saint Matthew School?
A: Yes. The first step is to contact your pastor. He will decide whether you will receive any subsidy from your current parish. Please ask him to write a letter to state the amount he will send to support your family's Catholic education.
Q: What are the hours of a normal school day?
A: The school day hours are 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM. The school doors open at 7:40 AM.
Q: Does Saint Matthew School offer after school care?
A: Yes, we have CARES after school hours in the afternoon only. The fees and schedule are available online.
Q: Does Saint Matthew School offer financial aid?
A: We do not offer financial aid, but you can apply for assistance through Children’s Scholarship Fund and financial aid forms are available here:
